The next hospital meeting will be on Sept. 17th 1-3 pm at Newton-Wellesley Hospital -Allen Riddle Hall Living Room.

The topics will be 1) a PEER Update by Kerry Dunnell and 2) a presentation by Meg Femino of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital on the Haiti relief effort from a non-clinical administrative viewpoint.  All are welcome.

**There are two hospital entrances on Washington Street.  Use the entrance with the traffic light and make an immediate right turn into the Visitors' Parking Garage.  Your parking will be validated.

This room IS NOT in the main hospital building!!!  To get to the building: park in the garage, walk outside the garage up the hill to the first building on the left. Go in the main door at the front of Allen Riddle Hall and the living room will be just to your right.

H1N1 Updates:

MDPH has issued a new visitation guidance for hospital

MDPH has sent a circular letter regarding Waivers of Federal Requirements under Section 1135 of the Social Security Act

a)       Waiver of some HIPPA requirements   (letter requesting a waiver)

b)       Use of alternate space within a facility

The next 4ab ASPR hospital meeting will be held Nov. 20th at Newton-Wellesley Hospital at 1:00 pm in the Allen Riddle Hall living room.  The agenda will focus on planning with Harvard School of Public Health for the 2010 regional hospital mutual aid exercises being funded by the hospitals in the region.
